Juventus, a midfield coup fades away
Juventus, a midfield shot fades
Juventus continues its hunt for a midfielder: the midfield department è the one that most worries Massimiliano Allegri, who has long been calling for reinforcements in an area of the field in which he has no solutions up to the mark on the bench. One of the targets long approached by the Bianconeri, Kalvin Phillips, is about to fade: the Manchester City midfielder will remain in the Premier League.
According to rumors, advanced negotiations are underway for a transfer to West Ham, which is expected to obtain the player on loan until June with a right of redemption.
The English midfielder is not finding space with Guardiola and is looking for an opportunity to revive himself also in the European Championship. Juve had inquired in the past but Allegri himself was not convinced and the Bianconeri now seem to have given up, although moves in extremis are not yet ruled out.
Also back on Juve's wish list in recent hours is Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who is reportedly considering leaving Saudi Arabia, but only from next June. Giuntoli is waiting for the right opportunity that has not yet è arrived.
