F1, goodbye AlphaTauri: new name causes discussion

No more AlphaTauri: the Faenza-based team changes its name again, as rumors predicted. The former Minardi and former Toro Rosso è team has been renamed Visa Cash App RB Formula One Team, and will be presented on February 8. "È it’s great to unveil the new identity and welcome new partners as we embark on the next phase of the Formula One team’s history," said Peter Bayer, managing director of the new Visa Cash App RB team. 

"Faenza is entering a new era of its racing endeavors, staying true to our roots as a hotbed of talent, but now with an even greater focus on competing for the most prestigious goals up for grabs in F1. We have great ambitions for the team, led by myself and Team Principal Laurent Mekies, and having future-oriented partners like Visa and Cash App by our side on this journey è extremely exciting".

The pair of drivers will be Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda again, and the team will be unveiled on February 8. Also announced is an even closer synergy with Red Bull.
