Monza has made official the arrival on loan of Alessio Zerbin from Napoli, via a statement published on its official website. "Alessio Zerbin è a new Monza player. The striker arrives from Napoli on a temporary basis until June 30, 2024" reads the note issued by the biancorosso club.

Born in Novara on March 3, 1999, he was trained in the Youth Sector of Inter where he remained for six years. In January 2017 he was bought by Napoli, with which he came to the fore in the Primavera. His debut among the professionals took place in the 2018-19 season with the jersey of Viterbese, where he immediately won the Coppa Italia of Serie C. 

After experiences with Cesena and Pro Vercelli, he moved on loan to Frosinone in the summer of 2021 for his first brilliant experience in Serie B. With 9 goals in 31 appearances è one of the revelations of the league and earned his return to Napoli.

The 2022-23 season saw him make his Serie A and Champions League debut with the Azzurri, who became Italian Champions in May. In the semifinal of the Italian Super Cup last January 18, he signed a brace against Fiorentina, giving himself his first goals with Napoli, with whom he also played the final as a starter.

A ductile and talented offensive forward, he also boasts a national team appearance in the Nations League match against Hungary on June 7, 2022.
