L'Allianz Milano è is ready to begin its Scudetto semifinal against Sir Susa Vim Perugia, which eliminated Verona in three games. The schedule for the first three challenges è has been set: Sunday 31 at 7 p.m. at PalaBarton, game 2 Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. at Allianz Club, and then again Sunday at 6 p.m. at PalaBarton. The first two games will be broadcast live on VBTV, while the third will be broadcast on RAI. Possible games 4 and 5 will take place again during the week in Milan and over the weekend in Perugia.

Last season saw a historic tipping of the balance in national volleyball, with Anastasi’s Umbrians excluded from the top four positions after a flawless regular season. This year, with Lorenzetti at the helm of Sir, winner of the last scudetto with Trento, and with players such as Kaziyski now playing for Milan, both teams are more aware of their capabilities than the previous season. Sir Susa Vim Perugia proved it can win even without its captain, Leon.

Coach Roberto Piazza, who charged his team on the eve of the game, knows it well: "We earned another semifinal after a long and challenging series against Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza by managing to overturn a prediction after game three. Now we have another great team ahead of us. We have only gone 3-2 against Perugia this season. After Piacenza I told the guys, let’s enjoy tonight, but then head down right away to work".
