"The best weekend since the beginning of the season" for Fabio Di Giannantonio in Le Mans, in the French Grand Prix. The Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team rider, confirmed the sensations of Saturday’s excellent P7 and improved, crossing the finish line, after fighting for the podium, in sixth place. 

Excellent sprint and fourth place at the start, Fabio è in a tussle for podium positions until a few laps from the checkered flag. A small mistake at Turn 4 and the subsequent penalty with a long lap, relegated him to the back of the second group. With 47 points, he is now in ninth place in the overall standings.

"I’m super happy, the best weekend so far with the team,” the Roman admitted to the team’s official channels. After the warm up, I felt really good, the riding sensations were great. I got off to a great start, I was in a tussle with Aleix (Espargaro ed) and I knew I had a good pace".

"In the final I struggled a little bit with the tire behind, the bike was vibrating a lot and I had to up the pace a little bit’. The others from behind came, I tried to hold on. Too bad then about the long lap, but I am happy. We had a good race and a good battle with Marc (Marquez ed). Let’s fix the last details and fight with the strongest in Catalunya" concluded Di Giannantonio.
