Guardiola: parting words to Manchester City

Six Premier Leagues won in seven seasons: Pep Guardiola made English league history with his formidable Manchester City, capable of folding Arsenal and Liverpool again and confirming themselves as champions of England. Post-match, the Catalan coach spoke about his future, admitting that a farewell to the Citizens è close given his contract expiring in 2025.

"The truth; è is that I am closer to leaving than staying.  We have talked with the club and my will; è is to stay for next season, but during the course of the year we will talk and see for the future".

"When I arrived here, if someone had told me I would win six championships in seven years, I would not have believed it. I would have called them crazy. With Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, with all these teams…. We were without Haaland for several months and Álvarez did an incredible job. Foden è a great talent. In the important moment è he was decisive. We have fantastic players, but with Foden we have an extra gear ".

Kudos to Arsenal: "He pushed us to another level. Liverpool had done it in the past, but in the last two seasons è it was Arsenal’s turn. This championship è has been incredible. The message è they will give us war for several years. They have a young and very talented coach, they warned us that we have to be cautious in the coming years".
