Pre-Olympic, Gianni Petrucci: “Let’s do like Atalanta.”

Federal president confirms Pozzecco regardless

This is it. Basketball Italy è is ready to play in the pre-Olympics. From July 2-7, in Puerto Rico, coach Pozzecco’s boys will look for the step to Paris 2024. They will do so without star Fontecchio (injury) but, almost certainly, with Gallinari who would return to the Azzurri almost two years later.

"He enjoys my trust. For me he has to stay. And of course his future is not è tied to the result at the pre-Olympic", the confirmation of the federal president Petrucci himself. In short, Italy è cohesive and confident. There's a desire to attempt the feat in Puerto Rico and thus succeed in participating in the Olympics. It would be a great achievement for the entire Italian basketball movement.
