Big fears for Serbia-England
Race at Risk
German police have issued a security alert for the English national team's debut match against Serbia at the European Football Championship in Germany, considering it the match with the highest risk of incidents in the entire tournament.
The alarm è related to the expected arrival of some 500 Serbian hooligans, reported to be in potential combat gear. To counter this threat, authorities have significantly increased surveillance, announcing the deployment of 1,300 additional officers.
Among the most feared fans are two organized groups from Belgrade’s main clubs, Partizan and Red Star, called Grobari (Gravediggers) and Delije (Heroes), respectively.
The challenge between the two teams will be staged on Sunday at 9 p.m. in Gelsenkirchen.
