The request, official, è that of more general consideration.

Croatia has accustomed the world to great feats in the course of its participation in both World Cups and European Championships, competitions to which it però rarely arrives enjoying the favor of the predictions drawn up by insiders. Euro 2024 è moreover, began with a narrow defeat against Spain, and as the team awaits its challenge to Albania, coach Zlatko Dalic has officially called for different treatment from public opinion.

"In recent years we have achieved results that prove one thing, which is that we are better than how we are perceived. Losing soì to Spain certainly wasnè t good, and the result è that now everyone sees us more negatively. That is also why we are so focused on the next match", Dalic said Tuesday at a press conference held on the eve of the challenge with Albania.

"We always receive little credit, no one believes in us,” Dalic continued, “In the last six years, forò Croatia has secured as many as three medals. And, France aside, we were the only ones who succeeded. That is why I say we deserve more respect. For example, England è always perceived as a great team, but they won only once 50 years ago. We, on the other hand, are always the underdogs".

Croatia’s coach then dwelt on Nikola Vlasic, who has stopped due to injury and is already certain that he will no longer be able to take part in Euro 2024. "He invested so much to help us in this competition. He was and remains an integral part of the team, and I can only say thank you to him for everything he did for us"” concluded Vlasic.
