Nicolò Melli leaves Olimpia Milano

Italian national team captain Nicolò Melli is leaving EA7 Milano for the second time after 3 seasons and 3 consecutive championships. Melli had already left Olimpia in 2015 after 5 seasons.

The announcement, not unexpected, comes in an official note from Olimpia, which had also said goodbye to Devon Hall in the past few hours: "Pallacanestro Olimpia Milano and its ownershipà thank Nicolò Melli for everything he has done for the club over the years, the individual records set, the three seasons ended with winning the scudetto, the memories we will always share, and wish him and the family the best for the future".

Melli these days è with the national team where he is preparing for the Pre-Olympics. Olimpia, which meanwhile has made official the arrival of Armoni Brooks, is expected to replace the Azzurri captain with the return to Milan of Zack LeDay and the landing of former Maccabi Josh Nebo.
