Italy-Poland 3-0 (25-18, 25-17, 25-12)

Italy women’s volleyball is back in the Nations League final two years after its triumph in Ankara. The Azzurre, in fact, demolished Poland in the first semifinal with a clear 3-0 (25-18, 25-17, 25-12), detaching the pass for the last act of VNL scheduled on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. Italian time against the winner of the other semifinal between Brazil and Japan.

At the PalaHuamark in Bangkok, Thailand, Julio Velasco s girls clinched their 12th win of the season by beating coach Stefano Lavarini s strong Poland, effectively erasing the debut defeat (3-0) they cashed in on their absolute VNL debut just over a month ago in Antalya.

Balanced in attack with Egonu increasingly dominant (22 points for her), solid in wall-defense, and almost perfect in counterattack, captain Danesi and her teammates will go in the hunt for the second VNL in history trying to repeat the success of Ankara 2022.
