Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori win doubles in Halle

Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori won the men’s doubles tournament of the’ATP 500 in Halle by beating in the final in two sets both finished in tie-break the Germans Kevin Krawietz and Tim Puetz in one’hour and three quarters of play.

Thus begins the Italian tennis finals Sunday on the grass in a big way. For Bolelli è it is the thirteenth career success in doubles, the second after the one in Buenos Aires last February together with Vavassori, who has won a total of five doubles tournaments instead.

In the entire match there’è wasn’t a single break and only the Blue had to save, three to be exact, at 3-3 in the second set. In the first tie-break, the Bolognese and the Turinese strung together a series of five points from 2-3 to the final 7-3, and in the second they went ahead 4-1 and managed to retain the lead until the decisive 7-5.
