A week after the Barcelona Gp, F1 immediately returns to the track in Austria at Spielberg. Among the various drivers who spoke at the press conference was Charles Leclerc, who wanted to reassure fans about his relationship with teammate Carlos Sainz after misunderstandings in Spain. In addition, the Monegasque driver è expressed his feelings ahead of the race at the Red Bull Ring.
"Regarding the relationship with Sainz è everything ok, we discussed as always and now we have clarified and there are no problems. We have known each other for years, we know that after the race there's always tension but then everything settles down and I have no worries about what will happen from now on. It happens and maybe there will be other similar situations in the future, but I am not worried. We flew back together after Barcelona" began the Monegasque driver.
"The gap in pole è was a few tenths, but the potential is there. The package must be optimized and we will come back fighting. The simulator preparation è went well and I am confident that we can come back and fight for the top places. In previous races we struggled a lot in the long and tight corners, here in Austria there are fewer of them and this could help us" added the Ferrarista.
"Motorsport at the Olympics? It would be nice but è complicated with different manufacturers. It would be nice and I would be proud to represent Monaco. I would be happy, but I don’t know if there are plans for something like that in the future" concluded Charles Leclerc.
