Angelo Sticchi Damiani accelerates for Monza

It was, as always, Aci's president Angelo Sticchi Damiani who opened the press conference presenting the Formula 1 Pirelli Grand Prix d’Italia 2024, scheduled for Sunday, September 1 at 3 p.m. at the Autodromo di Monza.

"This è a’different track than the one that hosted the last edition of the Grand Prix d’Italia. Monza è has changed so much in the’last year, which è has been made complicated, and I refer of course to the works, by bad weather and a whole series of obstacles. We started in the redevelopment of the’facility from the most important thing for a racetrack: the track. And of course we have to continue on this path. Whatò has been accomplished so far constitutes the first part of our modernization plan, this is obviously the most strategic part, the part that allows us to make a good impression with the teams, the drivers, Formula 1, and world motorsport. Now, però we need to continue to make this racetrack as hospitable, attractive and in step with the times as possible. Not only becauseé Monza deserves it but also in view of the renewal of the contract with Formula 1".

And again: "The Monza circuit è the mostù important in the world and for me also the mostù beautiful. Who doesn’t know it? We must run with the work to create the conditions for which Formula 1 will sign the renewal of the contract that è in place until 2025".
