After his victory in the quarterfinals of the Shanghai Masters 1000 against the very young Czech Jakub Mensik, Novak Djokovc paid tribute to his lifelong rival Rafael, who yesterday announced his retirement from’competitive activities.
“I dedicated a post to him on Instagram, è he was my greatest rival. He è was the opponent who had the biggest impact on me and my game, without a doubt. We knew that moment would come sooner or later, but è it was the same shocking to receive the news”.
