F1 GP Austin: Ferrari triumphant one-two! Super Leclerc, Verstappen on the podium

Memorable day for Ferrari in Texas: in Austin, Charles Leclerc takes victory ahead of teammate Carlos Sainz, who completes a resounding one-two for the Maranello stable which also relaunches itself in the race for the Constructors’ World Championship. Max Verstappen (Red Bull) finished the race on the podium thanks to the penalty imposed in the final on Lando Norris (McLaren): the fourth World Championship of the Dutchman is closer.

The start è decisive: Verstappen tries to overtake Norris at the first corner, Leclerc takes advantage and on the inside overtakes both of them finding himself sensationally in the lead of the race after a few meters, starting from fourth place. The Monegasque driver takes the margin over Verstappen, who duels with Sainz behind him, while Norris slips to fourth place.

After a safety car and pit stops Leclerc remains in the lead, while Sainz overtakes thanks to strategy a Verstappen in trouble with the tires. Great emotions in the race finale, with a rediscovered Norris coming back and dueling with Verstappen for the podium, while the two Ferraris are now unreachable in front of everyone.

The duel between the McLaren Englishman and the Red Bull Dutchman, also vital in terms of the world championship, è very close, with four laps to go there is an overtaking and counter-overtaking that keeps the positions unchanged, in the next round Norris finally overtakes his rival with a controversial maneuver but then loses his position for a five-second penalty.
