Spezia wins again, Palermo and Sampdoria hold each other back
Three important victories, plus a draw that could weigh in no small measure in perspective.
Spezia, Cremonese and Bari advance at full speed, Palermo and Sampdoria slow each other down. This is the outcome of Sunday's Serie B, with the results of the fourteenth day that could weigh not a little in the perspective of the race toward promotion to A.
Very important è in fact, the 3-0 of Spezia obtained against Südtirol, thanks to which the Ligurians move back to just one point from the leading Sassuolo and, above all, reach Pisa in second place. That is, the one that will be enough at the end of the year to conquer the Serie A. It was all pretty easy for the Aquilotti, who took the lead in the 7th minute thanks to an own goal by Pietrangeli (after the goal nullified by the Var to Kouda). Then at 41' came Francesco Esposito’s double. At 70' he closed Vignali.
Consolidating in turn their position in the playoff zone are Cremonese and Bari. The grigiorossi needed only the signature of Vazquez at 55' to get the better of Frosinone, beaten 1-0. It seems easier the Galletti’s task, who però tremble against Cittadella: it ends 3-2, with both Venetian goals in the second half and three minutes apart.
At the Barbera, on the other hand, the big match between Palermo and Sampdoria ends 1-1, a result that does not allow the Rosanero to go beyond seventh place in the standings. Even out of the playoff zone are the blucerchiati, leading with Tutino at 38' and remounted by Di Francesco in the first half’s extra minutes.
