Marcell Jacobs meets his father after 16 years
Having not seen Dadà Lamont for 16 years, Marcell Jacobs has finally met him. Relations between the two had been strained for years: the parent of the Olympic 100-meter and 4×100 champion in Tokyo, a Texas military man, had left his son with his mother to serve in Korea only 20 days after Marcell’s birth.
Now, forò, the atmosphere seems to have calmed down: the blue è moved to the United States to train for the upcoming winter indoor competitions and made the decision to spend the Thanksgiving holiday, held on the fourth Thursday of November, with his family in Kingsland, Georgia.
This time però with Marcell, in addition to his wife Nicole and children Anthony and Meghan, were Marcell's parents: mom Viviana Masini and, indeed, dadà Lamont. Viviana captured the moment on her Instagram profile by posting a photo with Marcell barking at his father and holding his son.
"This è the result of patience and love toward a belief and family unideal, of believing that everything è is possible,” wrote Viviana. "Today more than ever I believe in miracles, full of joy and tears, that if we accept the choices of others and wait, everything comes back".
