Marc Marquez ahead of everyone in Jerez test, Pecco Bagnaia far behind

After crashing and finishing 12th in the race, Marc Marquez immediately reared his head again during the test day in Jerez de la Frontera. The Ducati centaur, in fact, set the fastest time of 1:35.876, ahead of the KTM of Maverick Vinales and the Yamaha of Fabio Quartararo, distant three and four tenths, respectively.
Making Yamaha’s progress even more explicit was Alex Rins, who finished fourth, ahead of Pedro Acosta and Johann Zarco.
The first of the Italians was Marco Bezzecchi on the Aprilia, who finished in eighth place, 739 thousandths from the top. Completing the top 10: Fermin Aldeguer, Raul Fernandez and Fabio Di Giannantonio.
Only 19th, finally, Pecco Bagnaia, who used the two test sessions to experiment with different set-ups, with the’goal of improving the feeling at the front, his main achilles heel in this early season.
