Fifty-nine crews are competing, representing ten prestigious automotive marques, including Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Ford, Lamborghini, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche, joined this year by Corvette Racing. These are the main numbers of the 3 Hours of GT World Challenge Europe by AWS, scheduled at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza.

The cars are divided into four categories: sixteen in the Pro class, ten in Gold, seventeen in Silver and sixteen in Bronze. In total, there are 176 drivers at the start – three for each car, except for a crew composed of only two drivers.

Among the protagonists, a strong Italian presence stands out, with prominent names such as Antonio Fuoco and Alessandro Pier Guidi, winners of the recent editions of the 24 Hours of Le Mans at the wheel of the Ferrari Hypercar, here engaged in the 296 GT. Also on the team with Fuoco will be Arthur Leclerc, brother of Charles Leclerc.

In the Silver category, on the other hand, David Schumacher, son of Ralf Schumacher and nephew of the legendary Michael Schumacher, will be at the wheel of a Ford Mustang.

The Monza leg is the second of the Endurance season inaugurated at the French circuit of Castellet and won by the WRT team’s BMW GT3 driven by Belgians Ugo de Wilde, Charles Weerts and South African Kelvin Van der Linden.
