From Turkey comes good news for Juventus.

Fenerbahçe has officially ended its relationship with Jose Mourinho, a separation that came after little more than a year of cohabitation and far from the expectations of the eve. In Istanbul, the toto-coach has already started, and among the names circulating insistently is that of Thiago Motta, the former Juventus coach.
For the Turkish club, it would be a choice in continuity with the idea of modern soccer: organized pressing, ball possession and enhancement of young people. For Motta, on the other hand, it would be an opportunity to relaunch himself after an exoneration arrived with surprising timing in Turin.
But the Italian-Brazilian’s candidacy also interests, and perhaps above all, Juventus. Indeed, the contract Motta signed with the Bianconeri last summer binds him to the club until June 30, 2027, with a salary of about 3.5 million net per season. Despite the early termination of the relationship, Juve remains obliged to pay him the salary until the coach finds a new accommodation.
This is why an eventual signing with Fenerbahçe would also have direct effects on the accounts of the Bianconeri club. The estimated savings would be in the order of 10 million euros gross over the next two seasons, a figure that could go up considering the staff as well. Valuable resources for a club engaged in a delicate process of reconstruction and attentive to the balance of the budget.
The scenario, then, is clear: Motta at Fenerbahçe would not only mean a new chapter for the coach, but also a breath of fresh air for Juventus, which would see a significant economic burden lightened. For now, we are in the realm of speculation, but the fit appears convenient for all parties involved.
