Jannik Sinner accelerates and takes control, his as well in the second set

The second set between Jannik Sinner and Francisco CerĂșndolo developed quite sharply, despite some passages of balance in the Italian’s service games.
In the second set of the French Open Francisco CerĂșndolo started strong against Jannik Sinner but the Azzurro immediately responded in the same coin re-establishing the balance without conceding points. The decisive moment came in the third game, when Sinner found the first break of the set thanks to aggressive answers and passes of great quality that put the Argentine in trouble.
After the break Sinner had some fluctuations on serve even going so far as to concede a break ball but he always managed to get out of it in the key moments thanks to his greater incisiveness in long exchanges and the quality of his shots. A second break in the fifth game definitively addressed the set, thanks to a decline by Cerundolo, who appeared less precise and more timid on his serve turns.
In the final Cerundolo had a burst of pride, managing to take home a game but failing to reopen the partial. Sinner then closed 6-2 with a more labored but still controlled last service game confirming his overall superiority in the set.
