Juventus Transfer Market: An Offer Has Been Made for Dusan Vlahovic

For Juventus, Dusan Vlahovic—who is currently on vacation with his phone within reach—represents a more cost-effective option than most of the strikers the club is currently evaluating. Since there is no transfer fee and with a potential deal staying within the salary cap set at €6.5 million net per season—a figure the Old Lady has no intention of exceeding—his overall impact on the budget would be approximately €13 million annually.

This figure is significantly lower than that requested by other candidates: Kolo Muani, considering salary and amortization, exceeds 20 million per season, while Sorloth hovers around 18 million. If the contract is renewed under the terms proposed by the club, Juventus could thus keep costs in the attacking department in check and focus on signing just one other center forward.

The change at the top of the club has decisively reshuffled the deck: the departure of Damien Comolli —the French executive who had led the club first as general manager and then as CEO—paved the way for the arrival of Giovanni Carnevali, Sassuolo’s longtime CEO and a negotiator highly regarded in the industry for his long-term vision and ability to navigate complex deals. After all, the rift seemed complete. Giorgio Chiellini had publicly confirmed the Serbian striker’s departure with words that left no room for interpretation: “I’m very sorry. He’s a serious person, but at these figures he won’t stay in Italy; in any case, it’s legitimate for him to seek a different kind of contract.” The gap between Vlahovic’s demands—around €8 million plus a substantial signing bonus—and the ceiling set by the club had seemed unbridgeable, enough to push the player toward foreign shores: Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Barcelona, and Newcastle were all on his trail. Now, however, the situation seems to have changed…
