F1 Dutch Grand Prix: Weekend Schedule—Where to Watch Practice, the Sprint Race, and the Main Race on TV

With the long summer break now over, Formula 1 returns to the track for the twelfth race of the season, the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort. It’s shaping up to be a packed weekend: in addition to the main race, there will also be Saturday’s Sprint race, which awards crucial points for the standings. Currently, Kimi Antonelli of Mercedes leads the standings with 219 points, followed by Lewis Hamilton (Ferrari) with 169, George Russell (Mercedes) with 160, and Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) with 138.
Action kicks off at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, August 21, with the sole free practice session, while qualifying for the Sprint Race will begin at 4:30 p.m. On Saturday, August 22, the Sprint Race—which awards 8 points to the winner, 7 to the runner-up, and so on down to eighth place—will start at 12:00 p.m., while qualifying for the main race will take place at 4:00 p.m. The Grand Prix is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 23.
As for live television coverage, Sky Sport will broadcast all sessions live on the platform’s satellite channels and via streaming on NOW. TV8 will air the Sprint qualifying session free-to-air, with a delayed broadcast on Saturday at 10:30 a.m., the Sprint race live at 12:00 p.m., and the Sunday race on a delayed basis at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
In the last race before the break, held in Hungary, McLaren made a comeback, with Lando Norris securing the team’s first victory of the season. Max Verstappen, who will be racing on home turf in the Netherlands, finished second at the Hungaroring in his Red Bull, while Kimi Antonelli earned 15 crucial points by finishing third, ahead of Leclerc and Hamilton.
