Fabio Miretti could leave Juventus and move to Turkey. The midfielder, born in 2003, is in fact getting closer and closer to Besiktas, which in recent hours has stepped up talks with Juventus to finalize the deal. The parties are working out the terms of the transfer, which could take the form of a loan with an option to buy.

Negotiations appear to have made significant progress, and according to the latest reports, Miretti has agreed to the possibility of continuing his career in the Super Lig. Vincenzo Italiano is the main driving force behind the deal; he knows and appreciates the player and had already tried to bring him to Turkey in recent weeks. The Besiktas coach considers Miretti an interesting prospect to round out his midfield, and Italiano’s influence may have played a significant role in the player’s decision.

For Miretti, this would mark a new experience abroad following his loan to Genoa during the 2024–25 season. Having come up through the Juventus youth system, the midfielder has also gained experience at the highest level with the Bianconeri’s first team, but his playing time could be limited under the current coaching staff. Besiktas would therefore offer him the chance to find more consistent playing time and a more central role.

In Turkey, moreover, Miretti would be reunited with Dusan Vlahovic, who has just joined Besiktas following the conclusion of his time at Juventus. The two shared the Juventus locker room for several seasons and could therefore return to playing together, this time in the Turkish league.

Miretti’s departure could also have implications for Juventus’s incoming transfer market. The sale of the young midfielder could, in fact, free up space on the roster and, above all, help create the conditions for a move for Franck Kessié. The Ivorian has long been among the names evaluated by Juventus management to strengthen the midfield, and in recent hours, the possibility seems to have gained further traction.
