Trent fends off assault for Bayehe: new contract signed

Dolomiti Energia Trentino has announced the contract extension with forward Jordan Bayehe until June 30, 2029. Arriving in Trento on June 6, 2024 after experiences with Brindisi, Cantù, Roseto and Stella Azzurra, Bayehe has made an important path of growth, becoming an increasingly central pawn in the bianconero chessboard as well as turning into a market man.
Jordan was a key player last season, helping to reach the LBA playoffs with a fourth-place finish, and has been instrumental in the European run in the EuroCup, culminating in a historic quarterfinal berth and in the LBA playoff race this season finale.
With the Dolomiti Energia Trentino jersey, Bayehe has so far racked up 90 appearances, averaging 6.8 points and 4.2 rebounds, with 59.7 percent from two-point range and 28.6 percent from three. His improvement between the two seasons has been significant: he has risen from 4.6 to 9.3 points on average, growing significantly in percentages, particularly in three-point shooting (from 17.6 percent to 31.2 percent) and two-point field goals (from 57.5 percent to 61.7 percent), a testament to the great work Jordan has done together with the HCL coaching staff.
“I am very happy to have renewed with Trento,” said the athlete. “These two years here have allowed me to get to know the environment in depth and understand the ambition of the club, which is to continue to improve and always look ahead. The next three years with Aquila will definitely be a path of growth, month after month and year after year, just as it has been so far. I hope to take a lot of satisfaction from it, both personally and together with the team.”
