Rabiot and Fagioli knock out Inter: Juve triumphs
Juventus – Inter 2-0 in the Sunday postponement of the thirteenth day
Somewhat the opposite happened from what happened last April 3 at the Allianz Stadium. Last season, the Bianconeri team played perhaps one of the best home matches, but ultimately succumbed 0-1 due to Calhanoglu’s penalty in the first half recovery.
In today’s post-match match of the 13th day of A, on the other hand, it was Inter who did not disfigure at all, but Juve came out of the field with three points.
After a first half in which the Nerazzurri team seemed several times on the verge of taking the lead, Juve took the field in the second half with a different determination. The snapshot of the match is the first Bianconeri goal, scored by Rabiot thanks to a counterattack – born from an Inter corner – masterfully orchestrated by Kostic, the best on the field, who gives the Frenchman the 1-0 ball.
Inter tried to fight back, the pinwheel of substitutions began, there was time to note a goal disallowed to Danilo after an endless VAR consultation but then, in the 85th minute, here came the Juventus double. It is again the former Eintracht Serb who gallops down the left and offloads for Fagioli: the former Cremonese man’s shot is yes slightly deflected, but the authorship of the goal is not in dispute. Juve wins, Simone Inzaghi chews bitterly.
