Aryna Sabalenka extols her new Wilson Blade v10

Wilson Sporting Goods has announced the arrival of its new high-performance racquet, Blade® v10, 20 years after the launch of this racquet line. Designed for maximum control and responsiveness at impact, Blade v10 offers ideal consistency for an attacking game that never stops. Blade v10 will be the choice of some of the best athletes on the pro circuits, including four top-10 tennis players: Aryna Sabalenka (No. 1), Amanda Anisimova (No. 6), Mirra Andreeva (No. 9), Vicky Mboko (No. 10), Jakub Menšík (No. 25).
“I’ve been using Wilson’s Blade racquets since I was 15 years old. We have won so much together, which makes the relationship between athlete and racquet especially special,” says Aryna Sabalenka, world No. 1. “Blade v10 offers me everything that is important to me in a racquet: confidence, control and the ability to compete as aggressively as possible. I’ve enjoyed testing the various prototypes over the past few months, and I’m excited to finally compete with the v10.”
Launched in 2006, the Blade line has been the choice of professionals for two decades. V10 is the most aggressive version of the Blade ever, as well as the most important renewal in the line’s history. The new design enhances power while refining precision control and responsive response. Key new features include:
- .
- New TurboTaper technology that increases power for easier hitting through optimized thickness, and StableFeel+ technology that increases frame responsiveness through enhanced stability. Players will then be able to compete more aggressively from multiple positions on the court, turning defense into offense and staying in control even at critical moments.
- Made with excellent control of technical specifications, v10 is the Blade that offers the most control and consistency. Each racquet has the same weight and balance, for consistent play that allows tennis players to compete freely even under pressure. These new enhancements complement two decades of innovation, which include Blade’s beloved X-Loop design, FortyFive° carbon, DirectConnect handle and more.
- The V10’s gritty Championship Green color scheme with infrared hotspot captures attention on the court. The new version also features powerfully embossed lines and matching replacement grip in green.
“The Blade line is one of the most popular racquets on the pro circuits, and we’ve worked hard on innovation to deliver the best version for today’s evolving game,” says Jason Collins, Global General Manager of Racquet Sports at Wilson. “Wilson’s first goal is to offer our athletes cutting-edge, top-quality products, and we are confident that Balde V10 represents a major improvement that makes it easier than ever to control the court.”
