Juventus market, Chiesa and another high-level shot on the way

To raise the level of the team to secure Champions League qualification: that is the goal of Juventus’ market men, who are working frantically to complete the first strikes of the winter session. Among the names warming up fans the most is that of Federico Chiesa, who could return to the Bianconeri after a very complicated year and a half at Liverpool in the Premier League. The Bianconeri are trying to convince Liverpool, which at the moment would like to keep the player: the will of the son of art will be decisive.
Despite injuries and absences in the Reds, Arne Slot has granted very little space to the former Fiorentina champion, who is trying to regain the lost continuity also in the national team. The English are cold for now because they would like an outright transfer, for an amount similar to what they paid a year and a half ago for the player’s card, namely 12 million euros. Juventus, on the other hand, has proposed the formula of a loan with compulsory right of redemption in the event of Champions League qualification.
Luciano Spalletti’s team also needs reinforcements in midfield, and the Old Lady has eyeballed an opportunity it wants to seize: Franck KessiĆ©, an old acquaintance of Serie A now in Saudi Arabia at Al-Ahli, wants to return to play in Europe and is looking closely at the possibility of a landing in the Bianconeri. The Ivorian’s contract expires in June with the Saudis, and Juventus would like to bring him forward immediately in January to give substance to its midfield.
Juventus’ scouts have been following his performances in the African Cup of Nations in recent weeks.
The former AC Milan and Atalanta player is convincing and a four-year contract worth 6 million euros a season would be ready for him if an agreement is reached.
Juve is aiming to release him from Al-Ahli six months in advance, and is studying how to move with the player’s agents and the Arabs. KessiĆ© has played every game so far as captain in the African Cup of Nations with Ivory Coast: the Elephants qualified to the quarterfinals.
