Giulio Pellizzari (Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe) won the Tour of the Alps 2026, finishing the stage race ahead of Egan Bernal (INEOS Grenadiers), second overall, and Thymen Arensman (INEOS Grenadiers), third.

Pellizzari’s eventual success was also accompanied by a stage win, the fifth stage from Trento to Bolzano (128.6 km), in which he again preceded Bernal and Michael Storer (Tudor Pro Cycling). At the foot of the day’s podium was Arensman, followed by Jakob Omrzel (Bahrain Victorious).

FCI President Cordiano Dagnoni, who was present at the final stage of the Tour of the Alps 2026, congratulated Pellizzari and the other Azzurri in the race, “Giulio Pellizzari’s victory is a source of satisfaction for the whole movement. Our young people are coming through and today we have proof of that. Pellizzari won with great authority, helped by the team and running as a captain able to give the decisive blow at the most important moment.”

“Also good was the National team of Roberto Amadio and Marino Amadori, present at the Tour of the Alps with many guys who performed well and give us hope for the future. Too bad for Finn who was injured, to him go the best wishes for a speedy recovery from the entire cycling movement. Congratulations to the athletes, technicians and clubs,” concluded the number one of the Italian federation.
