Scandicci, another illustrious farewell: after Antropova, away also goes Brenda Castillo

Savino Del Bene Volleyball officially announced that Brenda Castillo will not be part of the roster next season. The Dominican libero thus ends her adventure in Scandicci after four seasons in total, lived in two different periods: from 2021 to 2023 and then from 2024 to 2026. An important path, characterized by continuity, leadership and high performance, which has made her one of the reference points of the second line and a key figure in the growth of the Tuscan club.

With the Savino Del Bene Volleyball jersey, Castillo has totaled 166 total appearances: 114 in Serie A1, 7 in Coppa Italia, 41 in European CEV competitions (22 of which in the Champions League) and 4 in the World Club Championship.

Even in the last season (2025-2026), the Caribbean libero confirmed his weight within the team, collecting 45 appearances and maintaining a central role in the defensive balance of the group.
