AC Milan, there's one too many: "Tough fight between Allegri and Ibrahimovic", farewell close

There is an air of revolution in the Milan household after another disappointing season. Massimiliano Allegri’s experience at the Rossoneri is in danger of coming to an abrupt end after just one season following the last few difficult months, in which the Diavolo went into a results crisis and now risks not even qualifying for the next Champions League.
According to Corriere della Sera, there have been ongoing frictions between the Tuscan coach and the club’s managers, particularly Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The rupture allegedly occurred in early April, after the defeat against Napoli. The former Swedish striker and the coach from Livorno are said to have clashed over the choice of a third goalkeeper to be included in next year’s squad: the quarrel was said to have been “very harsh.”
“A minor pretext, yet enough to ignite already overheated tempers in an instant. Big words flew and since then Ibra has not been seen at Milanello and has only recently reappeared at San Siro,” Corriere della Sera wrote. Allegri is reportedly exhausted by the situation and Ibrahimovic’s constant meddling in his management, so much so that he is considering an early farewell as early as the end of this season. The club is also under pressure from the fans, who in recent days have opened a petition for the resignation of CEO Giorgio Furlani.
A Milan, in retreat at Milanello until the game with Genoa, will try in the coming days to regain the serenity needed to hit the indispensable goal of the season, which is Champions League qualification. But at the end of the season, whichever way it goes, everything could change again for the Milanese club.
With two days left to play, Milan is on 67 points in the company of Roma, tailed by Como at 65, while Juventus is at 68 and Napoli leads at 70. Three Champions places to be shared in five, with the Diavolo facing the away match at Marassi against Genoa and then closing at home against Cagliari. Allegri will have to do without disqualified Saelemaekers, Estupinan and especially Rafael Leao, one of the most criticized players in this season’s finale, to the point that he has temporarily deactivated his Instagram profile to escape social media pressure.
