Milan market, exodus risk: besides Leao and Maignan, four other names ready to say goodbye

The failure of the Champions goal and the corporate confusion that continues to envelop Milan are leaving deep marks. The technical area, in fact, is without clear managerial references and the bench is a total unknown.
In this suspended climate, it is not surprising that several players are starting to look around, and we are not only talking about the most notorious cases.
The farewell of Rafael Leao has already been announced by the person concerned, while Mike Maignan continues to be insistently approached by Juventus. But in the last hours, according to leaks from the Rossoneri circles, four other players would be ready to leave Milan after a season lived between disappointment and more than one missed promise.
The first name is that of Luka Modric. The Croatian had chosen Milan to give himself, after a year of transition, another run in the Champions League, one last season at a high level in Europe before ending his career. Qualification for the Europa League, decidedly less coveted by the Dalmatian star, has changed everything: Modric would have no intention of staying in a project that, at the moment, does not offer the guarantees he expected twelve months ago.
Similar situation for Adrien Rabiot, who arrived to follow Massimiliano Allegri and is now in the balance again. The Frenchman is one of the Livorno coach’s loyalists and, with Allegri himself getting closer and closer to Napoli, it is not excluded that he could also follow him in this new adventure. Staying at AC Milan, without a clear picture, does not convince him.
Then there is Ruben Loftus‑Cheek, who in three seasons at Milan has also had brilliant moments, which, however, have been counterbalanced by numerous physical problems that have often forced him into the pits, limiting his performance and continuity. The English midfielder does not yet consider his experience in the Rossoneri as closed, but also his contractual position (one year to go until the expiration date) makes his name among the possible disposals of the summer that is about to begin.
Finally, there is the position of Youssouf Fofana, often criticized by the fans and already considered expendable for some time. The Frenchman is disappointed by Didier Deschamps’ failure to call up Didier Deschamps for the 2026 World Cup and would like to revive his stock by putting himself on the line in a new environment, perhaps by returning to Ligue 1.
In short, AC Milan risks a summer of profound transformation. Without a defined technical guide and with the management still in the process of rearrangement, the feeling is that several elements of the current squad are losing patience and that the Rossoneri’s market, rather than a restyling, needs a real re-foundation.
