Italy’s repechage to World Cup, Trump tightens timetable with days to go: "Said law"

We are very few days away from the start of the World Cup and that is also why U.S. President Donald Trump, recently honored by Fifa’s number one Gianni Infantino, who sees in him a man of peace, is in a hurry to find stability in the Middle East.
According to Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will be forced to accept whatever understanding Washington can reach with Iran. This was stated by Trump himself during a telephone interview with the Financial Times. Netanyahu “will have no choice,” Trump told the British newspaper. “I am the one who dictates the law. I am the one who dictates. He has no say in the matter,” the U.S. president added.
During the interview, Trump also claimed that Iran’s recent attacks have not affected his determination to pursue diplomatic dialogue. “It will have no impact on the agreement,” he told the Financial Times. “We’ll see how it plays out. But the missile strikes against Israel have not left their mark. It’s one of those things that’s been going on for 3,000 years, or 47 years, depending on how you count,” the U.S. president pointed out.
The Qatari prime minister and the Iranian foreign minister meanwhile had a telephone conversation to discuss Lebanon and containing escalation in the region, the Doha Foreign Ministry said in a statement. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani reiterated to Abbas Araghchi the importance of reaching an agreement for a “final peace” in the region, the statement said.
