Ac Milan

It’s now official: “AC Milan announces that it has appointed Ruben Amorim as head coach of the men’s first team,” reads a statement on the Rossoneri club’s website.

“We’ve been following Ruben for years,” commented Gerry Cardinale, Managing Partner of RedBird Capital Partners. His tenure at Sporting has been extraordinary and perfectly reflects the style of play we’re looking for. He’s one of the most knowledgeable and innovative coaches of the new European generation: young, ambitious, with a clear footballing identity and a well-defined tactical approach. Ruben believes in an attacking, high-intensity style of soccer. His philosophy aligns perfectly with our vision, and his leadership qualities, combined with his ability to develop players, have deeply impressed us. We believe in him and are thrilled to welcome him to the Club.”

Amorim’s first words as a Rossonero are also featured on Milan’s official website: “There are ambitions that stay with you throughout your career, and for me, coaching Milan has always been one of them. I know exactly what this club represents: history, prestige, and an extraordinary fan base all over the world. It’s a challenge I take on with pride and enthusiasm, fully aware of what these colors mean. I can’t wait to get started and to experience the passion that drives Milan every day.”
