Brescia Can Get Back on Track with a Heavy Hitter

Basketball in Brescia is ready to get back on track after the events of the past few days, and following the green light for the acquisition of Nocera’s sports license to compete in Serie B Nazionale next season, rumors have already begun swirling about who will be part of the new team and who will be its new leader on the court.
Among the names being mentioned is Pietro Aradori, born in 1988 in Brescia, who played last season in Serie A2 for Forlì. The idea of seeing him in the new club’s uniform—just as Brescia basketball is trying to bounce back after being relegated from the top division due to the transfer of the franchise to Paul Matiasic’s Maxima Roma—adds value that extends beyond the court.
The new club, led by Graziella Bragaglio, is finalizing the last technical details following reassurances from the FIP. The goal is clear: to avoid starting from the bottom of the league and to begin climbing again from the third tier of the national basketball pyramid. To do so, the team also needs a star player on the court, and the name Aradori is sparking the imagination of local fans.
Having come up through Team 75 Lograto, Lumezzane, and Casalpusterlengo, Aradori has also played for Andrea Costa Imola, Olimpia Milano, Virtus Roma, Biella, Mens Sana Siena, Cantù, Galatasaray, Estudiantes, Reyer Venezia, Reggio Emilia, Virtus Bologna, Fortitudo Bologna, and Forlì. He also boasts 154 appearances for the national team between 2007 and 2019.
