Charles Leclerc returns to victory in a Formula 1 Grand Prix nearly two years after his last win, climbing back onto the top step of the podium for the first time since October 2024, when he triumphed at the Circuit of the Americas in Texas. The Monegasque driver capitalized on an excellent start and a sound strategy, as well as the unfortunate mechanical failure that knocked Mercedes’ Kimi Antonelli out of contention for the win, completing the final laps behind the Safety Car, which had been deployed after Max Verstappen went off the track.

Third place went to Lewis Hamilton, in an extraordinary race for Ferrari.
