Turin Transfer Market: Five New Signings on the Way to Round Out the Roster

One month until the start of Serie A: Torino takes stock of the transfer market and the gaps to be filled in Ignazio Abate’s roster. So far, Torino has signed young goalkeeper Mascardi from Spezia and forward Oristanio from Venezia. According to rumors reported by La Stampa, Petrachi has drawn up a list of priorities.

The Granata are looking for a goalkeeper, two center backs, a right back, and a central midfielder. As for the right flank, a surprising rumor has gained traction in recent hours: according to Sky, Torino is reportedly considering a sensational return for Matteo Darmian, who is currently a free agent after six years at Inter. The fullback, born in 1989, previously wore the Granata jersey from 2011 to 2015, making 151 appearances and scoring six goals in all competitions.
