Inter Transfer Market: A Huge Offer for Pio Esposito Is on the Way. The Nerazzurri’s Response

Interest from England is mounting for Inter’s rising star, Francesco Pio Esposito. The Nerazzurri forward, one of the brightest rising stars in Italian soccer, is reportedly on the radar of two top Premier League clubs, Arsenal and Manchester City.
In particular, according to The Sun, the English clubs closely monitored the player during the summer derby against Milan in Perth to assess the young forward: scouts were reportedly impressed, and both clubs are ready to make a serious push for him as early as this transfer window.
Arsenal manager Arteta, who will soon be saying goodbye to Gabriel Jesus, highly rates Esposito, and the Red Devils could also choose him as a replacement for the departing Joshua Zirkzee. Inter currently has no intention of selling him: Esposito is part of the club’s future plans and is becoming one of the most important figures on the Nerazzurri squad. However, offers could still come in, and Marotta might be open to negotiations if bids exceeding 85–90 million euros are made for him.
Last season, Esposito played 48 matches across all competitions, scoring 10 goals. Chivu has greatly appreciated his development and held him up as an example for the team’s young players: “I hope they look to the paths taken by Dimarco, Pio Esposito, and Aleksandar Stankovic. It depends on them, on the intensity they bring, and on the level they’re able to show in matches against top-tier opponents.”
