Preseason friendlies: Frosinone vs. Lazio, probable lineups

Friendly match at the Benito Stirpe Stadium between Frosinone and Lazio, scheduled for 8:45 p.m. A Serie A preview between the two Lazio-based teams, both of which will make their Coppa Italia debuts this coming Sunday—Frosinone against Juve Stabia and Lazio against Mantova.
Alvini’s newly promoted Frosinone will take the field with the attacking trio of Fini, Raimondo, and Zerbin. In midfield, Koutsoupias will partner with Calò and Cichella, while the defensive line will consist of Oyono, Cittadini, Monterisi, and Bracaglia. Frosinone defeated Ascoli and drew with Sambenedettese and Benevento in their previous friendly matches.
Gattuso will field his strongest possible lineup, with Ratkov as the center forward supported by Noslin, Ratkov, and Zaccagni. In midfield, Rovella will partner with Taylor, while Marusic and Pedraza will play on the wings. In their most recent friendlies, the Biancocelesti defeated Avellino and Ascoli.
Frosinone vs. Lazio: Probable Lineups
Frosinone (4-3-3): Palmisani; Oyono, Cittadini, Monterisi, Bracaglia; Koutsoupias, Calò, Cichella; Fini, Raimondo, Zerbin. Coach: Alvini.
Lazio (4-2-3-1): Mandas; Marusic, Doekhi, Provstgaard, Pedraza; Taylor, Rovella; Noslin, Dele-Bashiru, Zaccagni; Ratkov. Head Coach: Gattuso
For Lazio, however, the transfer market for forwards remains the hottest topic. The pursuit of Franjo Ivanovic, a 2003-born center forward from Benfica, has fallen through in the last few hours: the Croatian wants to play in European competitions and has chosen Lens, which will be competing in the Champions League next season. With this option off the table, the Biancocelesti are evaluating alternatives: among the names being considered are Sassuolo’s Andrea Pinamonti and Santiago Gimenez, for whom Milan might be open to a loan with an option to buy following the arrival of Gonçalo Ramos. Fiorentina’s Piccoli is also on the radar. The club’s goal is to finalize its attacking lineup in time for the Coppa Italia match on August 16 against Mantova, or for the league opener on August 24 in Bologna.
