NBA: Russell Westbrook Has Clear Thoughts on the Possibility of Playing in Europe

Russell Westbrook is one of the NBA’s All-Stars. The MVP of the 2016–17 season, he has appeared in the All-Star Game nine times. He has already played 18 seasons in the NBA but has yet to fulfill his biggest dream: winning an NBA championship ring.

Given that his record currently stands at zero titles (at the team level), some believe the time has come for 37-year-old Russell Westbrook to start winning. To do so, he would need a new adventure in Europe.

Countless top EuroLeague clubs would do anything to sign him, but according to Marc Stein, his future won’t be in Europe. Russell Westbrook seems intent on continuing his NBA career, even without a real chance of winning the NBA title.

It’s very likely that he’ll continue playing for the Sacramento Kings. And Europe? Maybe next year—it’s unlikely to happen this season, even though some people really believed it might.
