Everyone’s heading to Las Vegas: After F1, the NBA is on its way, too

The NBA is constantly evolving. Following the record-breaking sale of the Los Angeles Lakers and the NBA Europe project, there’s new news out of the glittering world of the NBA. In this case, the focus is on business expansion within the United States.

Las Vegas is Commissioner Adam Silver’s new target. Sin City is the perfect location for a new NBA franchise, much more so than Seattle, which, however, remains in the running (its “inclusion” could happen in the future).

The idea is to have anyone wishing to own a franchise in the city of gambling pay a substantial sum that will serve, as explained by ESPN, as the “entry fee” for anyone dreaming of becoming part of the NBA world.

Following Formula 1 (which arrived in Las Vegas in 2023), NBA games will soon be held in the famous Nevada city, which seems tailor-made to host major sporting events, given its constant flow of people and the substantial amount of money that characterizes it.
