Milan Transfer Market: Bad News Regarding Rafael Leao

Rafael Leao’s recovery continues, but his participation in the upcoming league match against Venezia remains unlikely at this time. The Milan forward, who is always at the center of transfer rumors, did not train with the rest of the team again today and continues to follow a personalized training program.
Milan trained this morning at Milanello in preparation for their home league opener against Venezia, scheduled for Friday, August 28, at San Siro. There is good news, however, for Mario Gila, who is back with the group after the issue he experienced in the previous match against Torino, when he was forced to leave the field due to cramps. The defender completed the training session without any particular problems.
The situation is different for Leao, who once again trained separately. The Portuguese player therefore remains doubtful for the match against Venezia, and as the days go by, his availability appears increasingly unlikely. Milan will still have two more training sessions to assess the forward’s condition. The team will return to training tomorrow and Thursday, the day on which Ruben Amorim’s pre-match press conference is also scheduled.
The upcoming training sessions will therefore be decisive for Leao. Milan does not seem inclined to rush his recovery, especially given how important it is to have the forward at his best in the coming weeks, while the Portuguese player’s future on the transfer market continues to be a major topic of discussion in the background.
