2026 US Open Draw: The Men’s Bracket and the Italians’ Opponents
Here we go: the men’s draw for the 2026 U.S. Open—the season’s final Grand Slam tournament, taking place on the hard courts of Flushing Meadows, New York—has been drawn. With Jannik Sinner out due to a knee injury, the top seed is Alexander Zverev, who will make his debut against Lorenzo Sonego of Turin.
On his way to the final, the German player could face major obstacles in the form of Lorenzo Musetti in the round of 16, either Alex De Minaur or Rafael Jodar in the quarterfinals, and either Auger-Aliassime or Flavio Cobolli in the semifinals. Matteo Berrettini will make his debut against veteran Stan Wawrinka, whom he has already faced and defeated at Wimbledon; he could then face Novak Djokovic right away.
