2026-2027 Champions League: PSG vs. Slovan Bratislava—Probable Lineups

Home debut for European champions Paris Saint-Germain: Luis Enrique’s team takes the field at 9 p.m. against Slovan Bratislava for their opening match of the Champions League group stage. The French champions aren’t having a great time at home right now: they currently have just two points after their first three league games and lost their last match against Monaco in front of their own fans. It’s also a tough time for the Slovaks, who have lost their last two league matches and slipped to fourth place in the standings.
Luis Enrique is expected to stick with his tried-and-true lineup, starting the attacking trio of Dembélé, Doué, and Kvaratskhelia. Ferran Torres will start on the bench. The midfield features the tried-and-true trio of João Neves, Vitinha, and Fabián Ruiz.
Touré fields the attacking trio of Barseghyan, Šporar, and Suleiman Camara, supported in midfield by Martínez, Pokorný, and Ibrahim. The fullbacks will be Blackman and Sandro Cruz.

Despite the rocky start, the coach of the two-time European champions, Luis Enrique, remains calm: “There are things to improve, but I think we deserve more points. I’m not worried. We’ll see at the end of the season what we deserve. I’m calm, but we need to improve. Now everyone is excited and motivated to play against us. We have to accept that and step out of our comfort zone. I’m ready to prove that we have to reinvent ourselves every day.”
