Cantù vs. Napoli: Schedule Change Officially Announced

The game between Acqua S. Bernardo Cantù and Napoli Basketball, scheduled for the third round of the 2026-2027 Serie A basketball season, has been rescheduled from its previously announced time. As announced by the LBA on Friday, the game between the Brianza-based club and the Naples team will take place on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. and will be broadcast on LBATV.
Cantù will head into the October 11 game after facing Reyer Venezia at the ‘Taliercio’ on September 26 at 8 p.m. and APU Udine on October 5 at 8 p.m. at the PalaDesio, which will remain the home of the Biancoblù until the new Cantù Arena is completed. Naples, on the other hand, will kick off the season on the road against Maxima Roma on September 27 at 8:00 p.m. and will follow that up on October 3 in front of their home crowd against Reggio Emilia. The Neapolitans will also play in the EuroCup on September 30 against Bourg-en-Bresse and on October 6 in Podgorica against Buducnost.
Coached this year by Frank Vitucci, Acqua S. Bernardo Cantù will compete in its second consecutive season in the top flight, after securing its place in the league last year under head coaches Nicola Brienza and, later, Walter De Raffaele. Napoli, after finishing the first half of the season among the top eight, ended the regular season in tenth place, but still secured a spot in a European cup competition for the first time since the club’s founding in 2016, when it took over the basketball legacy of the Campania regional capital.
