MotoGP Sprint in Austria: Pedro Acosta Dominates but Crashes; Martin Wins. Marquez Finishes Ahead of Bezzecchi

Jorge Martin pulled off a surprise victory in the MotoGP Austrian Grand Prix Sprint race: the Aprilia rider capitalized on a crash three laps from the finish by Pedro Acosta, who had been dominating the race, to secure the win and reclaim the lead in the overall standings.
The KTM rider took the lead on the first lap and set a pace that was unsustainable for anyone else, creating a gap between himself and the rest of the field. But in the final laps, he threw it all away by sliding into the gravel. Joining Jorge Martin on the podium were the other two title contenders, Marc Marquez (Ducati) and Marco Bezzecchi on the other Aprilia.
Positive signs for Pecco Bagnaia, coming off a troubled week: the Ducati rider from Piedmont managed to finish in sixth place, not too far behind the leaders. Fabio Di Giannantonio also finished in the top 10.
