The match between Luxembourg and Bulgaria, a Group L Nations League fixture, is scheduled for Tuesday at 8:45 p.m. Both teams are going through a serious slump, and a win could boost morale and provide new inspiration.

The home team, led by Jeff Strasser, will be without Danel Sinani and captain Laurent Jans. Enes Mahmutovic will also miss the match due to a suspension for accumulating yellow cards. Moris will be in goal, with Bohnert, Selimovic, Carlson, and Veiga in front of him.

Moreira and Barreiro will play in midfield, while Thill, Olesen, and Dardari will operate further forward, tasked with feeding Kadamani. Born in 2007, the Metz striker is among the most promising young players in Luxembourg soccer and beyond: much is expected of him despite his very young age.

Bulgaria is going through a rough patch: head coach Aleksandar Dimitrov resigned at the end of September, and Atanas Ribarski was named interim coach. To make matters worse, Lukas Petkov and Dimitar Velkovski will not be available for the match against Luxembourg.

In Ribarski’s 4-3-3 formation, the attacking burden will fall on M. Petkov, Iliev, and Z. Dimitrov. Behind them will be Tsonev, Gruev, and Stoyanov. In defense, Turitsov is expected to move to the left; Stoyanov will be on the opposite side, with Dimitrov and Velkov in the center.

Probable lineups
Luxembourg (4-2-3-1): Moris; Bohnert, Selimovic, Carlson, Veiga; Moreira, Barreiro; Thill, Olesen, Dardari; Kadamani. Head Coach: Strasser
Bulgaria (4-3-3): Naumov; Stoyanov, K. Dimitrov, Velkov, Turitsov; Tsonev, Gruev, Stoyanov; M. Petkov, Iliev, Z. Dimitrov. Head Coach: Ribarski
