Serious allegations against a volleyball coach: sexual assault and child pornography

A volleyball coach has become the subject of an investigation by an Italian prosecutor’s office on charges of sexual assault and child pornography. According to the findings of the investigation, the man allegedly took advantage of his position and the relationship of trust he had established with several underage athletes to obtain intimate images and initiate sexually explicit conversations. This was reported by Blitz Quotidiano.

According to testimony gathered by investigators, the coach allegedly used a pretext related to athletic training to convince the boys to send him nude photos. He claimed he wanted to check their physical condition and assess whether they were fit enough.

According to the prosecution, these requests were the first step toward increasingly explicit exchanges of messages. After gaining the trust of his students, the coach allegedly went on to solicit the sending of sexually explicit videos as well.
Five young men have reported the coach’s behavior, bringing to light a case that the judiciary is seeking to fully investigate.

Investigators also accuse the man of having engaged, on at least one occasion, in sexual relations by exploiting his position as a coach. A sixth boy is alleged to have been the recipient of child pornography sent by the 40-year-old.

The charges are under review by the judicial authorities, and the suspect’s liability will have to be determined in court.
