La Liga 2026–2027: Real Madrid vs. Villarreal—Probable Lineups

Saturday’s schedule is truly packed: in the Premier League, Arsenal vs. Leeds kicks off at 1:30 p.m., followed by four matches at 4:00 p.m. (Aston Villa vs. Brentford, Chelsea vs. Bournemouth, Ipswich vs. Fulham, and Sunderland vs. Brighton), and at 6:30 p.m., the highly anticipated match between Manchester United and Tottenham wraps up the day.

At 2:00 p.m., Rayo Vallecano will face Athletic Bilbao, while at 4:15 p.m., Alavés will take on Atlético Madrid. At 6:30 p.m., Barcelona and Getafe will face off, while at 9:00 p.m., the day’s action will conclude with Real Madrid vs. Villarreal.
Mourinho’s Real Madrid must win: they’re already six points behind Barcelona following their loss to Atlético Madrid in the derby. Villarreal is on the rise thanks to wins over Málaga and Levante, and now sits in eighth place in the standings.
